Have you been to Puerto Vallarta?

We’re planning a honeymoon there for the beginning of October this year. We haven’t picked a resort, but after reading reviews we’re leaning toward one called “Dreams.” Do you have any suggestions or comments? Activites, or must-see’s for the area?

What should I expect to pay for at Dreams Punta Cana All-Inclusive?

I have a lot of questions about what I should expect from this resort. Reading reviews, it seems like people have had different experiences depending on how much they pay. We reserved the Honeymoon Suite through Expedia.com. Please answer only if you’ve been to this resort.
-Someone mentioned extras that you had to rent/make deposits to use. Things like snorkels, boats, a bed on the beach were all mentioned. What sorts of things are actually included, and what costs extra (besides the spa)? I also get the impression that certain meal items cost more in the restaurants.
-Is room service and/or minibar included? I wouldn’t expect this, but from some of the reviews I’ve read it sounds that way.
If you’re willing to chat about your experience, please send me a message as I would love to hear some of your ideas. Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!

Where to go on honeymoon!?

We can’t decide. There is a resort in Mexico I really want to go to, but we’d be going away in July and I don’t really see the point of going somewhere warm when it’s already warm. But anyways, here is my dream resort:

We are also thinking of doing Hawaii or an Alaskan cruise, but we like to have a few coctails, and don’t like the idea of no booze included.

So.. I need your help. Where would go you?? Our budget is $5,000 or less all included (meals, booze etc)

1. Iberstar Grand Paradiso, Mayan Riveria

2. Hawaii

3. Atlantis Hotel, Bahamas

4. Alaskan Cruise

I am an European looking for the nicest location for my honeymoon in Thailand.?

I dream of a nice, sandy beach, with palmtrees and blue waters, and cheap accomodation, but close to the beach and nice resorts. What would you recommend? Both as hotels and areas. I understand that Phuket is very nice. So, where to go in Thailand?

What accomadations should I use in St. Augustine, Florida?

My fiance and I are planning a trip to St. Augustine. It will be a short weekend…leave Friday (about a 2 hour trip) and return Sunday night. This is going to be our romantic getaway since he came back from his orders in the Army. I want this to be a romantic weekend. Let me say a few things that may help some of you that are familiar with the accomodations. I don’t like bed and breakfasts (I know that this is crazy but just a small house makes me nervous..I’m more of a resort girl). I like something on the beach. He says he really wants something on the beach! My “dream room” would be something with a Jacuzzi in it preferably that looked over the beach. I want this to be the greatest weekend. Before he left we did this in Jacksonville and it was wonderful…This is also serving as our honeymoon so add that into consideration…Thanks in advance for any ideas you have!! Thank you!!!!!

Has anyone been there recently to know if they offer 24 hour room service included in the price. It does not show it on their webpage but someone I know went last year and said that they did have 24 hour room service. Thanks Also any input on whether to stay at Dreams or Sunscape and which resorts would you choose. Anyone been to both of these resorts please put your input. Thanks

Drinking age in Punta Cana?

This August, my cousins and I are going to Punta Cana. My one cousin is 19, so she probably wont have any problem getting drinks. I am 15, and my other cousin is 16, but can easily pass for at least 18. We are staying at the Dream Resort, and it’s all inclusive. Will we be able to get drinks without ID?
